About the role
This is a finance-first role for someone who likes numbers, ownership and figuring things out. You'll own the day-to-day accounting engine at Sure — GST, TDS, reconciliations, payments and monthly finance operations — while getting a front-row seat to how an early-stage company gets built.
We're looking for someone who understands the workings, spots gaps, asks the right questions and closes the loop. You'll have external CAs, CSs and legal partners to work with, but internally you'll be the person making sure things get done.

What you'll do
- Day-to-day accounting, vendor payments, reimbursements, bank reconciliations and clean books
- GST end-to-end: workings, reconciliations, input tax credit checks, return data and coordination for timely filings
- TDS end-to-end: calculations, deductions, payments, reconciliations and return data
- Monthly closing, basic MIS, cash-flow and expense reporting for the founders
- Payroll inputs and onboarding people-operations processes as the team grows
- A compliance tracker, plus coordination with our CA, CS and legal partners
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of hands-on finance or accounting experience — though we care less about the count and more about proof that you know your stuff
- You have worked on GST and TDS
- You understand accounting basics and can reconcile numbers until they make sense
- You're comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets and accounting software like Zoho or Tally
- You're precise with money and deadlines, but practical enough to work in a fast-moving environment
- You take ownership — if something is pending, you know who to chase, what to check and how to get it closed
- You spot gaps, ask the right questions and close the loop instead of waiting to be told
