About the role
You've worked in the credit team of a bank or HFC. You understand the process inside out. But something hasn't sat right with you — a system that often prioritises the bank's convenience over the borrower's reality. A creditworthy customer rejected because their paperwork didn't fit a rigid template. Policies that haven't evolved — and no one questions them. You've noticed it. You've felt the friction. And now, you want to build something better. At SURE, you'll own the entire arc from sanction to disbursement, build bank relationships from scratch, solve real problems for real borrowers, and shape the tools and systems that make it all work. The scope of the role will keep expanding as you earn it.
What you'll do
- Own active cases from sanction to disbursement — identify bottlenecks, push where needed, and restructure cases to drive closure
- Build and manage relationships with banks — negotiate, follow up, and position SURE as a credible, high-quality DSA partner
- Speak directly with borrowers — understand their context, explain options clearly, and help them move forward
- Use your credit expertise to shape internal tools — from a smarter doability engine to automated workflows — you won't just operate systems, you'll help design them
What we're looking for
- You have strong credit judgment — you understand both the policy and how decisions actually get made in practice
- You take responsibility for your work and follow things through till closure — you own outcomes, not just tasks
- You don't default to "no" — you're willing to explore how something can be done before shutting it down
- Your skillset doesn't fit into a single function — you're comfortable working across credit, customers, banks, and ops
- You're okay with ambiguity and are interested in fixing broken systems, not just sustaining existing ones
- You understand customer situations and genuinely like helping them move forward — problem-solving with empathy
- You use AI tools in your day-to-day work and are comfortable building with them
